Drawing process of aluminum plate
Drawing after hot stamping
Typically, the drawing process is performed before oxidation to ensure optimal anti-corrosion performance after drawing. The 3003 rust-proof aluminum plate is primarily used for drawing and can be customized into various decorative patterns such as straight lines, random lines, threads, corrugated lines, and spiral lines to meet different aesthetic requirements.
Straight Line Drawing
Straight line drawing involves mechanically processing linear patterns on the aluminum plate surface through friction. This technique not only removes surface scratches but also enhances the visual appeal by decorating the aluminum surface.
There are two main types of straight line drawing:
• Continuous Straight Line Drawing:
This is achieved by horizontally and continuously rubbing the aluminum plate surface using a scouring pad or stainless steel brush. Under certain equipment conditions, hand grinding or using a wire brush attached to a planer can create continuous silk patterns.
• Intermittent Straight Line Drawing:
Typically produced on brushing machines, this method creates fine, intermittent straight lines.
Manufacturing Principle
The process employs two sets of differential rollers rotating in the same direction. The upper set consists of a fast-rotating grinding roller, while the lower set is a slower rotating rubber roller. The aluminum or aluminum alloy plate passes between these rollers, producing delicate intermittent straight lines on its surface.
Random patterns
1.Random Dull Pattern
The random dull pattern is created by rubbing the aluminum plate back and forth using a high-speed copper wire brush. This technique produces an irregular, matte finish that adds a unique texture to the surface.
2.Corrugated Pattern
The corrugated pattern is typically formed on a brushing or grinding machine. It is achieved by the axial movement of the upper grinding roller and the lower rubber roller, which creates wave-like shapes on the surface of the aluminum or aluminum alloy plate.
3.Rainbow Drawing
Also known as spinning light, rainbow drawing is a silk print pattern created by polishing the aluminum plate surface with a cylindrical felt or overlapping nylon wheel mounted on a drill. This polishing is done with a mixture of polishing paste and kerosene. Rainbow drawing is commonly used for producing circular logos and adding decorative details on small items such as dials.
Thread drawing
Thread Pattern
The thread pattern is created using a small motor with a round felt wheel mounted on a shaft, fixed to a desktop at an angle of approximately 60 degrees relative to the edge of the table. Additionally, a special sliding carriage, designed to hold the aluminum plate, is equipped with a layer of straight polyester film to guide and limit the thread spacing. By combining the rotational movement of the felt wheel with the linear motion of the sliding carriage, evenly spaced, wide threaded lines are ground onto the surface of the aluminum plate.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is used to produce a surface with a thin decorative film or a fine reflective finish, catering to special design requirements such as achieving a soft luster. Properly controlled sandblasting treatment can effectively eliminate common surface defects on aluminum plates.
For aesthetic parts, whether using drawing or sandblasting, it is generally necessary to apply a surface oxidation treatment afterwards. Choosing between these two processing techniques depends largely on the part’s shape and the desired surface texture, as each method results in distinct finishes.
The function of aluminum plate for exterior wall insulation
This solution meets energy-saving requirements by significantly enhancing living comfort and improving indoor thermal stability.
Improved Wall Dampness Control
To prevent condensation, an air layer is necessary within the internal insulation system. However, for external insulation, no air layer is required because the insulation material, protected by the outer aluminum plate curtain, prevents moisture from penetrating the wall. The external aluminum plate insulation layer helps maintain an elevated temperature across the entire structural wall, reducing its humidity and thereby enhancing the wall’s overall thermal insulation performance.
Enhanced Indoor Environmental Quality
The internal solid wall with aluminum plate has a high heat capacity, which, when combined with an external insulation layer, slows the temperature fluctuations inside the room. This results in a more stable indoor temperature, promoting energy efficiency. During summer, the external insulation reduces the transfer of solar radiation and shields the interior from outdoor heat, ensuring the building stays warm in winter and cool in summer.
